Seeking a Travel Supervisor in San Diego, CA.

Job Summary:

Experienced Travel agency Supervisor with a minimum of 2+ years of experience with a proven track record of successfully growing a company’s travel volume.

The Manager will be responsible for all agent training needs to ensure that all travel agents have the skill and knowledge to perform their jobs well.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge of TRAMS, Client base and Sabre experience a must

Proficiency with booking and confirming travel reservations

Must be confident to solve customer service issues as they arise related to travel bookings

Knowledge of re-fare reservations

Opportunity to travel

Position requires Manager to work out of San Diego office location

Must have a positive attitude to motivate the team

Attend and conduct weekly managerial meetings

Strong communication and negotiation skills need to contact vendors and hotels etc.

Use existing mechanisms to monitor, record and report on agent and team work 

Lead team meetings and provide constructive feedback as necessary

Requirements:

2+ years of supervisory/management, operations and travel agent experience and exposure.  Excellent customer service skills
